The weighted calming vest works by applying gentle pressure to the dog's shoulders. This helps create a calmer emotional state by providing sensory distraction through comforting pressure, similar to a hug or pet.

Canada Pooch® focuses on the safety and well-being of all dogs. Canada Pooch® consulted with veterinary behaviorist Dr. Colleen Wilson on the weighted calming collection and carefully selected the weight of our vest to not exceed 3% of your dog's body weight. It is not suitable for dogs with pre-existing conditions such as sleep problems, diabetes, circulatory problems, back or neck issues, and/or low blood pressure.

The use of the weighted calming vest is entirely situational for your dog. It can be used for longer periods, but we recommend that you constantly supervise your dog and never leave them unattended while using this product. Your dog can sleep in the vest while being supervised. It is not recommended to leave the product unattended overnight.

SIZING GUIDELINES:

Follow the size guide to ensure a proper fit. Your dog's shoulder weight should not exceed 3% of their body weight. If your dog falls between two sizes or fits multiple sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size.
